Written by a NASA engineer, this is a pretty stale & average first contact tale. The most interesting thing about it is that Methone, a moon of Saturn, is a REAL and very interesting object. But the story & the writing were pretty weak.

Dark with good twists

This was Flynn's first novel & I enjoyed the slow burn of the mystery of the killer...and the circling dread as reporter Camille finds herself revisiting a traumatic past. The conclusion was rapid but satisfying.
