Nachdem ich vom Film leider nicht so begeistert war wie vom ersten Teil, war natürlich nicht zu erwarten, dass mich das Drehbuch umstimmen würde. Die Geschichte an sich wirkt wie eine Einleitung für das, was noch folgen wird. Viele Frage bleiben offen, oftmals erfolgen Handlungen überstürzt und/oder sie sind einfach nicht nachvollziehbar. Dazu kommt noch, dass ein paar Details widersprüchlich zu den ursprünglichen Harry Potter Büchern sind.
Trotzdem bin ich gespannt, wie sich Fantastic Beasts weiter entwickeln wird, hoffe allerdings, dass die Geschichte nicht bloß mehr oder weniger den Kampf gegen Voldemort in Harry Potter 5 bis 7 kopieren wird.
