loppear reviewed Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov (Everyman's Library, #133)
A struggle, hard to recommend

But incredible literature, depictions of its US setting and mentality and humor. It's perverse, but the real discomfort for me is the strong identification and visibility of misuse of human beings and selfish power in so many relationships.
