My least favorite so far but also it ends really strong. They could just speed up the beginning and it would be a complete banger. Still great but it took me 4x as long to finish.
@reconbot Is this a re-read or a first time through the series? I’ve read the whole thing and Cibola Burn is my least favorite book as well. I “think” they planned to write a trilogy and then it was so popular they were able to write more books in the series so book 4 is pure table setting world building for the next 5 books.
